Once you enroll in the eLearning program, PADI’s eLearning system will send you a code to access interactive study materials. The materials include text, videos, audio and graphics, which are filled with interesting and crucial information. During your learning process, you will encounter a short quiz section, which is designed to help you assess your progress. This is the english version but you can also choose French, German, Dutch, Spanish and Indonesian as we teach in all those languages.

This course runs in conjunction with EFR Primary and Secondary Care training. If you do not already have a valid CPR/First Aid certificate (completed withing the last 24 months) you can enroll in the EFR course provided by our dive center, prior to starting the Rescue Diver course.

Knowledge development, Pool or Confined water Training Sessions and Open Water Dives

The PADI Rescue Diver course covers both minor dive problems and major dive emergencies and a variety of techniques to deal with and avoid each. Topics include: The Psychology of Rescue, Recognizing Diver Stress, Accident Management, and Responding to Diver emergencies, Equipment Problems, and more.

You’ll practice your knowledge and skills during inwater rescue scenarios in confined water and open water. Exercises include: self-rescue; panicked diver; response from shore, boat or dock; distressed diver; first aid and oxygen administration; and more.

Once you’ve studied the information in the eLearning program, passed the exam and you’ve taken the review we mentioned above, you’re done. That means that our dive centre is going to be notified that you’ve completed the eLearning section of the course and that you’re ready for the practical part – dives with our PADI instructors.

Additionally, you can print out a copy of your eRecord and show it to us.
