Other than the confined water dives and open water training dives that you’ll practice with our PADI Instructor, the eLearning section will prepare you to complete the course. To pass this section and move on to the practical part, you’ll need to take an eLearning Quick Review.

The review contains questions from the safety-related material included in the presentations. Once you’ve completed the theory, pool exercises and 4 ocean dives, you’ll become a certified entry-level diver. That means that you can rent diving gear and dive anywhere in the world with a guide or dive buddy.

From the moment of registration, you have one year to complete the PADI Open Water eLearning course. Even though you’ll have only one year to finish the course, your access to the PADI manual will never expire. Therefore, if you want to refresh your memory and look up particular information, you’ll be able to do so at any time.

As we already know, each individual has a personal time frame in which they acquire knowledge and information. However, the general rule for the minimum amount of time spent learning is 12 to 15 hours. You can manage the learning hours according to your schedule.
