Want to get your passport to diving? Try the PADI Open Water Course.
Do your PADI Open Water Diver Course with the Bali Diving Academy! The PADI Open Water Course certification will enable you to dive all over the world and see many different types of underwater environments. The course consists of 3 parts:

How does it work?
Once you enrol in the eLearning program, the PADI's eLearning system will present you with an interactive presentation. The reading materials include texts, videos, audio and graphics, which are filled with interesting and crucial information. During your learning process, you will encounter the short quizzes section, which is designed to help you access your progress. That way you’ll know specifically, which parts of the program require more attention. Follow the link of PADI to start your theory: http://www.padi.com/elearning-scuba-registration/default.aspx?irra=21586&CourseType=ow
This is the english version but you can also chose French, German, Dutch, Spanish and Indonesian as we teach in all those languages.
What is required to complete the course?
Other than the confined water dives and open water training dives that you’ll practice with our PADI Instructor, the eLearning section will prepare you to complete the course. To pass this section and move on to the others, you’ll need to take an eLearning Quick Review.
The review contains questions from the safety-related material included in the presentations. Once you’ve completed the theory and practice tests, you’ll become a certified entry-level diver. That means that you can rent diving gear and dive anywhere in the world with a guide.
How much time do I have to complete the eLearning course?
From the moment of registration, you have one year to complete the PADI Open Water eLearning course. Even though you’ll have one year to finish the course, your access to the PADI manual is perpetual. Therefore if you want to refresh your memory, and look up particular information, you’ll be able to do so any time.
How much time do I have to spend learning?
As we already know, each individual has a personal time frame in which they acquire knowledge and information. However, the general rule for the minimum amount of time spent learning is 12 to 15 hours. You can manage the learning hours according to your schedule.
How do I document that I've completed the eLearning process?
Once you’ve learned the information inside the eLearning program, and you’ve taken the review we mentioned above, you’re done. That means that our dive centre is going to be notified that you’ve completed the eLearning section of the course and that you’re ready for the practical part – dives with our PADI instructors.
Additionally, you can print out a copy of your eRecord and show it to us.
