Padi Divemaster Course in Bali
The PADI Dive Master Course is one of the most rewarding courses to take. It not only improves your ability as a diver, but also allows you to look after other people underwater by increasing your confidence and skill level.
While the other Padi Dive courses can be completed in a few days, the Divemaster course, as the first professional level, can take 2 month or more to complete. Even most diving instructors nowadays are still talking about their dive master course was the most rewarding and they learned the most. The Padi instructor course afterwards was a piece of cake, is not an uncommon statement of seasoned diving instructors.
Bali Diving Academy is very happy to have two very capable Dive Master Trainees on Nusa Lembongan at the moment.
Jacob from Australia has learned how to dive with us a few years back and decided this year he would take the first step and become a Padi professional. Bobby from Java in Indonesia is our latest local dive master trainee who completes his job training as part of the Bali Diving Academy annual job training for Indonesian citizens.
During the PADI Dive Master course, you get to experience all levels of diving and get a fair share of assisting experienced instructors on PADI Discover Scuba Dives, up to helping out and playing a victim on a PADI Rescue Diver course (Everyone enjoys pretending to be a panicking diver!).
Making a underwater map of a dive site and many more things like skill circuits, physical swim tests and plenty of other fun things to do. The conditions around Nusa Lembongan can be challenging at times, but when you are doing your training here, that makes you for sure a much better Divemaster as you will always be aware of currents, learn how to read the conditions and are able to handle more challenging dives.
Both Jacob and Bobby have experienced some great drift dives around Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida. We do enjoy to see a huge variety of marine life not only fish, also stunning reefs and part of being a good guide is being able to find some of the amazing creatures we have here. Both Jacob and Bobby are already quite good at finding the very small, like tiny crabs and Nudibranchs on the north coast of Nusa Penida and have also already seen countless Manta Rays in Manta Point of course.
Come over to Nusa Lembongan and check out the diving and meet our team of Bali Diving Academy.
