Bali Diving Academy offers courses to learn the practice of freediving in a safe and structured way from beginner to experienced freediver. Even for already certified and experienced freedivers we offer the infrastructure and support for perfectly safe freedive training and for fun freediving.
All our courses and freediving practices are taught and supervised by an experienced PADI and AIDA qualified freediving instructor.
About the Advanced Freediver Course
As freediving is all about relaxation and knowing your body this course will further focus on relaxation, breathing and breath-holding techniques. It will then deepen the understanding of the basic principles, repeats the safety precautions and brings you to greater depths and further distances. This course is a must if you would like to experience great freedives with another freediver.
Theory session about physiology (part 1), Mammalian Dive Response, warm up exercises and training table
Open water session and neutral buoyancy, hands only ascend and CWT technique
Confined water session and CO2 tables, rescue during DYN
Theory session about physiology (part 2) and dynamics of the dive
Confined water session and warm up before maximum attempt during static and dynamic
Open water session including constant weight focusing on dynamics in the water, rescue exercise, buddying
Third open water session including constant weight, free fall training and buddying
Fourth open water session (only for AIDA course) focusing on constant weight, free fall training and buddying
What will you learn?
This course doesn’t only deepen your understanding of freediving techniques, you will also learn more about yourself, your body and mind.
Obectives: 2minuntes 30 seconds static breath hold, 50m dynamic diving under the surface and 20 meters depth on constant weight in the open ocean.
